Lytham St. Anne's 1940's Weekend

Last weekend saw Lytham St. Anne's host it's 1940s weekend. The weather stayed nice & there was a good turnout. Lots of representatives from the allies, and the axis. Plenty of civilians dressed for the occasion too. Local businesses turned into wartime cafes etc. for the event, and there were sandbags galore along the high street. Quite an unusual sight & a prime location for a spot of street photography & impromptu portraits. Of course, there's the obligatory sepia toned shot!
